The Mekong river
Long of about 4700km, the Mekong river is one of the world’s major rivers and the 7th longest in Asia. The source of the Mekong river is the Tibetan Plateau. The Mekong continue through China's Yunnan province, then Burma, Thailand and Laos to become much larger in the plains of Cambodia and finally spread in Vietnam in what is known as the magnificent Mekong Delta.
